Edelweiss is a simple gorgeous boarding house and a restaurant in Zermatt. They serve wonderful breakfast with Swiss and Valais Specialties such as fruit and carrot cake. This is a wonderful place just to have a nice lunch or breakfast if you are not a mountaineer.
Trift Berggasthaus located at Trift has delicious homemade air dried beef, apple tart, homemade ice tea, potato rosti and Trift platter. They offer 40 seats outside for visitors to eat delicious Swiss specialties with the excellent views of the alpine mountains. They also have accommodation in double room and dormitory for mountaineers to stay.
Gandegghutte located in the midst of Zermatt’s mountain and glacier landscape and at the heart of the Klein Matterhorn ski region, you will discover the mountain lodge with its special charm constructed in 1885 in a unique environment at 3030 meters high. You can enjoy their Valaisian specialties and selection of regional wines. You can spend the night in the Gandegghutte in a mountain log cabin which is a unique experience both in summer and in winter.
Fluhalp is a mountain restaurant located at 2606 meters above sea level and lies in the middle of the skiing and hiking area of Sunnegga-Blauherd-Rothorn. The large sunny terrace with a unique view of the Matterhorn invites people to stay a while and enjoy it. They offer live band playing during the winter season from Christmas to Easter, which guarantees a good atmosphere. In the summer, Fluhalp offers overnight accommodation in rooms and camps. You can experience the romantic atmosphere of a log cabin at dawn and sunset combined with alpine hikes and high alpine routes.
