Welcome to the Schönbielhut. Surrounded by mighty mountains such as the matterhorn, Dent Blanche or Obergabelhorn, the refuge is a starting point to classic and breathtaking tours such as the „Haute Route“ or the „Tour du Ciel. As a hiking destination it lays at the end of the peaceful valley of Zmutt. You reach us in 2,5 h from Schwarzsee or in 4h from Zermatt. An unforgettable hike along the north face of the Matterhorn.
