Patrick’s kitchen revolves around unadulterated, high-quality produce. At Hotel Matthiol, you may come across him searching for new ingredients for his dishes or collecting pine needles for his jus. Patrick’s cooking style is innovative yet authentic. He combines the conventional with the unexpected and reinterprets the traditional. Or he sometimes just keeps it plain and simple, but always delicious, as with our Eringer Beef Entrecôte.
On our wine list, we place great emphasis on wines from Valais.
Summer time is Barbecue time. Every Sunday on our Matthiol terrace with meat, fish, different salads, dessert and our homemade welcome drink.
You can also book surprise menus (we’ll be pleased to consider your individual requests), 5 courses CHF 125, 6 courses CHF 135. Our kitchen is open from Tuesday until Sunday from 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. (reservations recommended).
