After all it hosts the Zermatt tourist office as well as the train to Tasch, Visp and the rest of the world. As well the area boasts the conveniences  of a well – stocked newsstand, electric and equine taxis, hotel transfer vehicles and luggage storage and a travel agent. As well there is a station café where you can enjoy your wait for a train in the warm summer sun. Trains though are frequent in high season, so you won’t have much time.
